Reshape Data Options

Controls the options used for the Reshape Data menu.

Display reshaped data in the Output window

Displays the reshaped data set in the Output window.

Display reshaped data in a spreadsheet

Displays the resulting reshaped data set in a spreadsheet. This is selected by default when opening the menu from the Spread | Manipulate menu.

Include empty rows

When this is selected, empty rows (i.e. rows with only missing values) will be included in the reshaped data set, otherwise they will be removed.

Include empty columns

When this is selected, empty columns (i.e. columns with only missing values) will be included in the reshaped data set, otherwise they will be removed.

Summaries to form first

When there are both Means or Totals statistics in the Factor to summarize list, this option sets the summary statistics that are to be calculated first. This will make a difference to the outcome only if there are missing values in the data set or if there are unequal numbers in the groups.

Means	Means are calculated first and then totals of the means.
Totals	Totals are calculated first and then means of the totals.
