Graphical display of bivariate data

The most effective way to display the relationship between two numerical variables is a scatterplot.

The values of two numerical variables are shown in a list on the left. The scatterplot on the right correctly shows crosses for all observations except the last two. Complete the scatterplot by dragging the two coloured crosses at the top to their correct positions. (The exercise permits some inaccuracy in positioning the crosses.)

If you have any difficulty, repeat with a few different data sets.
