Two examples

The second data set shows student marks. If class marks are presented to students in this form, they can not only clearly see the distribution of marks but can also determine their exact position in the class.

The first data set gives survival times (in days) of 72 guinea pigs that were injected with tubercle bacilli.


Most survival times are between 40 and 150 days, but a few guinea pigs survive for over a year. They are possibly unaffected by the bacilli.
