Select menu: Stats | Statistical Tests | One- and two-sample Binomial tests
Performs a one- or two-sample binomial test.
- After you have imported your data, from the menu select
Stats | Statistical Tests | One- and two-sample Binomial tests. - Fill in the fields as required then click Run.
You can set additional Options then after running, you can save the results by clicking Save.
Test
Specifies the test to be carried out: One-sample or Two-sample.
Available data
This lists data structures appropriate to the current input field. The contents will change as you move from one field to the next. Double-click a name to copy it into the input field, or type the name in directly.
Data arrangement
Specifies the form of the data. Select Data sets if the data are supplied in variates containing 0 and 1s, where a 1 indicates success. Alternatively, select Summary values if the data are to be supplied as summary values.
Confidence limit
Enables you to control the limit for the calculation of a confidence interval. The limit is expressed as a percentage and must be in the range 0-100
Method (One sample test only)
Specifies the method used for one-sample test. You can select from either Exact test or Normal approximation.
Type of test
Enables you to choose select either a one-sided or two-sided test.
