Add Points

Use this to add points for new objects to a principal coordinates analysis.

Available data

This lists data structures appropriate to the current input field. Double-click a name to copy it to the current input field or type the name.

Distances

Specifies a matrix containing the squared distances of the new objects from the original points.

Display

Specifies the output to be displayed.

Coordinates	Displays the coordinates of the new points.
Residuals	Displays the residual distances of the new units from the coordinates in the space of the old units.

Save

This lets you save results from adding the points to the principal coordinates analysis in Genstat data structures. After selecting the appropriate boxes, type the names for the identifiers of the data structures into the corresponding In: fields.

Coordinates	Matrix	Containing the coordinates of the additional points in the space of the original points
Residuals	Matrix or variate	Containing the residuals of the new objects
