About Toolbars

Toolbar buttons provide a quick shortcut to many frequently used functions. When the cursor is placed on a toolbar button its function is displayed in a tooltip. When a function is not available the corresponding toolbar button will be disabled and the image dimmed. For example, Cut and Copy are only available when a selection has been made in the current window. To avoid activating a button after depressing it, use the mouse to drag the pointer off the button before releasing the mouse button. There are three types of toolbar available:

Standard toolbar
Spreadsheet toolbar
Active spreadsheet toolbar

You can choose which toolbars to display using the customize toolbar menu or by clicking on a toolbar with the right-mouse and then selecting the appropriate toolbar from the pop-up menu.

You can select which buttons to display on each toolbar by using the customize toolbar menu.
