Use this to create a variate that defines a contrast to be used in estimating the replications required in a Standard design, or the Power for an Analysis of Variance.
Contrast
This specifies the name of the contrast variate.
Type of contrast
| Regression | The treatment means regressed against the contrast values. |
| Comparison | Differences between a combination of treatment means. |
Create contrast variate
Create a spreadsheet containing the contrast variate as a single column. The length of the contrast variate in the spreadsheet needs to be specified in the Contrast length field.
