The Genstat Server has been upgraded
- The Genstat server includes 11 new procedures.
Statistics enhancements
- New ability to try spline surfaces in the Automatic Analysis of Row-Column Design, Automatic Analysis of Incomplete-Block Design and Automatic Analysis of Series of Trials menus using the Automatic REML 2D Spline Options dialog
- The Kruskal Wallis menu has a new option to perform a Dunn’s test on pairwise differences between treatment groups.
- The Discriminant Analysis menu has new options to calculate validation error rates using either cross-validation, bootstrapping, or a jackknife.
- New Install/Remove CycDesigN User Menus menu to install menus to use CycDesigN within Genstat.
- The Create Trial Design menu now has an option to colour the cells in the Excel design layout file for either replicates or blocks.
- The Analyse Multiple Trials together menu now has an option to save the trial by entry means for genotype x environment analyses.
Graphics enhancements
- New Tessellation Plot menu to plot Voronoi tessellation or Delaunay triangulation plot of points in the x-y plane, optionally coloured by a third variate.
- The Heatmap Plot menu has a new option to change the orientation of the y-axis.
Spreadsheet enhancements
- New Spread | Restrict/Filter | First Unique Rows menu to filter the displayed rows to show only the first occurrence of the each unique combination from the selected columns.
- The spreadsheet now supports reading SAS Transport V8 files and files compressed with the BZIP2 algorithm.
- The spreadsheet now supports writing Parquet files.
- The Excel binary clipboard format will now support copying data from Minitab.
