New menus

Statistics enhancements
- The ANOVA, Regression and REML Multiple Comparisons dialogs have a new unsorted option to print the comparisons in the factor order.
- The Analysis of Variance and Generate a Standard Design menus have a Split-Split-Split-Plot Design type added. Also, in the Generate a Standard Design menu, the maximum number of factors in some of the designs have been increased.
Graphics enhancements
- New Heatmap Plot menu to plot a variate as a colour spectrum on grid of x and y values.
- Improved default symbols and colours in the Graphics Environment menu. The old settings from the 23 edition and earlier can be selected by choosing the Genstat legacy environment item in this menu. The Symbols tab of the Graphics Environment Edit dialog can now control the line thicknesses in the environment.
- Ability to change the colour palette in Line and Symbols tab, using the new Select colour palette button and being able to define your own colour palettes with the Define User Palette dialog.
- Enhanced options for the Contour, Shade and Surface plot menus.
- New options in the 1D Density/Violin Plot menu to add pirate plot features of means/medians, percentiles, confidence limits and jittering to the plot.
- New options in the Boxplot menu to colour the boxes.
- New options in the Mosaic Plot menu to add axis titles and control the display of upper y-axis factors.
- New option tab Text Sizes and Fonts added to all graphics menus.
- The Repeated Measures Profile Plot menu has added X-Axis and Y-Axis tabs.
- The Dot Histogram menu has added an option to give a title for the axis displaying the names of the groups or variates in the plot.
Spreadsheet enhancements
- The new Lagged Values/Differences menu lets you create lagged values or differences from a column.
- The Merge Spreadsheet dialog has had the number of merge keys increased from 4 to 6.
- The Unstack Spreadsheet dialog now has an option to Interleave the unstacked columns.
- Clicking the Row column heading with the pencil icon now opens the Rename Columns dialog to edit all column names in the spreadsheet in one place.
General enhancements
- New Trials menu for a variety trial pipe-line which can be enabled in the Menus tab of Tools | Options menu.
- Ability to bookmark all incidents of a string in the Find dialog.
- The Bookmark by Value menu now works for text windows.
- The Calculations and Probability Calculations menus have been updated with new functions added since the 15th edition.
- The Copy Special to RTF and HTML menus can now use the column descriptions for the table headings.
- An extra 365 agricultural datasets have been added to the Open Example Data Sets menu.
- The Biometris Procedure library is now distributed with Genstat and can be installed using the Install Biometris Procedure Library menu.
